Resurrecting Ambitions

1 min read

Back to the future, I go

To resurrect cancelled ambitions, don’t you know?

The fear of failure grips tight

Impatience is a curse, an endless fight

Imprisoned by affordability, yearning to break free

Wondering what success will ever be to me

Is she worth the struggle and the pain?

Or was it all just in vain?

Tucked in the comfort of doubts and fears

The smell of ink, my dear

The privilege to pour my heart and my soul

To let paper take control

For success may come and success may go

But writing is something I’ll always know

It’s a passion that will never die

And with it, I’ll always fly high

So back to the future, I’ll journey on

The words shall live on

For even if I fail along the way

I know that writing is here to stay.
